When you are planting, defusing, or repairing, you will see a Wrench icon when an Engineer is nearby, telling you that they can do the job you are doing, but faster. This will be a subtle way of telling players that Engineers can do objectives better, and will likely let them do their thing.
Some buffs for Engineers that I think would be nice
Cause it helps them do their job, by letting idiots know they can deal with objectives faster, maybe forcing people to think hm maybe I should protect them.
I hate when you’re an engineer and these arming or disarming objective and do not cover other

he’s not trying to repair. he’s trying to mate with the ev.
I’m not sniping out proper engies who does their objectives at the right time, but there are also some stupid engineers just meaninglessly rush to EV or planting position, and blame team mates for not covering themselves.
Like Game Mode XP’s slave and suicide squad.
Wanting proper team mates that can wipe out enemies for you is normal thing, but also seeking the right time to plant/repair is also needed to engineers.
Which often means that no one plants, no one repairs, no one bothers to eat the bullets to make sure the EV keeps moving forwards.
But strangely enough, these engineers that are waiting for the ‘right time’ somehow still manage to prioritize some side objective above everything else. For example the side MG in Chapel… sometimes the whole team just keeps buzzing around it. It gets build up, it gets blown up, and no one even gets to fire the damn thing beyond the defending enemy.
Let us consider Chapel for example, if attackers do not get the EV moving ASAP, it becomes so incredibly easy for them to get bottled down in their own spawn. Thus, the enemy knows that there will be some engineer or two rushing to repair the EV and that is what they need to stop. They know that there will be a little engineer hiding behind the EV and they will rush to flank him. Thus it should be easy enough for one half of the attackers to pressure the defenders so the engineer doesn’t get flanked as he repairs - while the other half of the team circles to flank out the defenders. In other words, there are other targets to shoot at beyond the lonely engineer.
The goal is to get the EV moving, and if you are not repairing, you should be trying cover the engineer’s flanks and back.
Thus if your team mates fail to provide assistance, there is not much else that an engineer can do beyond that aforementioned ‘meaningless rush to EV or C4.’
For me Game Mode XP is the easiest form of experience to acquire, along with the leading death count in the engineering suicide squad.

Needs to be five times bigger.
Doesn’t the tutorial cover objective repair/plant with Aura? There will always be tons of people who ignore and skip the tutorial because they think they can learn everything quickly by just playing the game, so beyond the tutorial there’s not much you can really do. I don’t know about you guys, but having text in the middle of the screen telling me how to play the game every time I play would be kind of annoying.
do you know what buff means

He has a good point, doesn’t matter if its a buff or not, get over it!
worst thing is that when i push any obj with my thunder i get kills on the OBJ and then there are no engies around to actually DO the obj
@Herr_Hanz That’s when you whip out yer handy dandy EV Repairin’ Pliers! Better some than none!
big fat thunder with 20 hp left trying to arm C4
it does work 4/10 times but its just annoying
