I was crashing at the start of any mission and getting error messages like the one below
…unloading Input Method Editor DLL
mouse: Failed to remove raw input device
…unloading Raw Input DLL
Shutting down OpenGL subsystem
…releasing DC
…destroying window
…shutting down QGL
…unloading OpenGL DLL
…unloading Windows Terminal Server API DLL
Sometimes even longer error messages.
Later on it moved into an issue with launching the game period.
After taking a moment to think I thought about running a registry cleaner[Warning]: (Please don’t go cleaning your registry just because this solved my issue unless you are willing to take the chance it could make the issue worse since registry cleaners can sometimes cause more harm then good.) The registry cleaner I always use when needed is CCLeaner.
I hope that my issue and resolution will help some other people out there.
