Solo Queue? Hello?

Can we get solo queue please? No more than 2 people to a party and 5v5 premades are fine like mobas and most other ranked queues. Hopping into ranked and always running into premades is deflating and frustrating to say the least.

Dirty Bomb is a teamwork-heavy game. How do you expect to get anything more than subpar teamplay from totally random players in solo queue? You may as well play pub matches.

In my opinion it’s better to actually network with other skilled players, get to know them, and play with them in organized parties. There’s a sense of intimacy there that solo queue will never be able to achieve. Why strive for less?

We can presume that higher rank MM players already have some instinctive and practiced behaviours when it come to team work.

Sometimes you run across some random strangers who just ‘click’ with your play style and you dominate the match together.

I have more than 1 friend though

The game should balance a group of 5 with another group of 5. a group of 4 with a group of 4 with two solos. Etc.

But it also has to account for how long you have been waiting and how many people have been searching.

Yeah… honestly its reallyyyyyyyy bad right now. I queue solo 75% of the time and I’d say I get a match against a team with no 3+ player groups maybe one in 7 or 8 matches. 7/10 matches are against full 5 man premades.

It’s just not fun, its not fun for me and my fellow solo queuers, but its also not fun for the premades. Unfortunately people are so obsessed with their ranks that they continue to queue as 5 and continue to ruin matchmaking. I hope it gets better by open beta because this is going to be a huge turn off for a lot of players. I tried to get a few of my friends to play competitive with me, we queued into a premade 5, they logged off the game immediately after and haven’t played since.

I’m probably not going to play any more competitive either until open beta, if you arent queing with at least 2 friends, you’re going to lose 8/10 matches even if you’re a really good player, and its just not fun anymore.
