So yesterday I tested for the first time my favorite class of all times : the Soldier. I immediately got mixed feelings about it for the following reasons :
The main gun:
- Takes too much screen space, even with 100 FOV.
- Aiming mode switch is fast enough.
- Firing rate way too slow for TDM games, I ended up using almost only the secondary weapon.
- Globally I felt it lacks muzzle fire and effects (more vibrations, beginning and ending shots with more echo ?).
- Firing sounds should be louder, I served in the army and believe me, this kind of guns do so much noise in burst fire, awesome feeling 
- Maybe faster firing rate, bigger clip size and a bit less damage to compensate ?
The secondary gun :
- Perfect clip size / reload speed.
- Fun and handy, devastating if well used.
Survivability :
- Seems right to me, nice job !
Globally as a Soldier I would enjoy to have some kind of explosive device (in addition to the grenades), like RPGs, C4, Dynamite, etc. to wreak havoc in enemy lines 
Finally, for the sniper what about throwing knives ? Would be cool, with maybe a supply of 3 or 4 knives to be thrown and the last one remains as the usual knife.
This is only my point of view, what do you think guys ?
