Soldier3 / nade launcher

Some feedback on this class after a couple of matches with it:

I know its still WIP but it seems that the grenade launcher radius damage is fairly small (a direct hit will score a kill, but doesn’t seem to do much damage even for a near miss). The projectile is fairly small which made it tricky to judge where it was going over longer distances - a smoke trail would be nice.

Seemed to TK with it fairly easily - in fact it seemed to do 200 damage to teammates (even without a direct hit) but not so much to enemies?

Primary MG seems nice to use, more so than the soldier1 MG perhaps.

Martyrdom! - this is a great idea, I can see it will have many tactical uses e.g. for clearing entrenched positions - my life for Kane :wink:

Unless it changed when I was messin’ around with it the other day, a direct hit didn’t score a kill for me. Always took at least 2 shots on somebody with full health.

Also, retsy found if you jump in the air just as a Soldier’s martyrdom is going off, you can survive. Fat chance timing that, of course… but seems strange.

But of course, as you and devs have mentioned it’s a work in progress. Those are just my quick thoughts.

any chance of a return for this, im sure a few people could do with a bit more lead in the game. :wink:
