So....why is the KEK 10 so good again???

Just a serious discussion about this, because I honestly feel like the Crotzni is way more effective. The KEK only excels with headshots from when I’ve messed around with it.

Why do people feel it’s op?

Similar reason why most people like the M4 over other guns. Good stats paired with ease of use.

The TTK on the Crotzni is better in most cases (Kek-10 is better against 110HP and Thunder) but has a bit more bloom and fairly high vertical recoil.
Keks recoil is far more erratic. But since the kick is quite a bit lower that isn’t as pronounced in the end. Giving the impression especialy in longer firefights that the Kek-10 is super accurate
Simply hold it at target pull the trigger and the gun more or less does the rest. Crotzni can kill faster, but it makes you work for it just a little bit more.

Last time I tried it (like three days ago), I was able to mow down Vassilis from the other side of Chapel.

From what I hear it’s mostly about how accurate it stays under constant fire. There’s almost no bloom and it has the highest dps of all the smgs, I think.

I can’t use it though, dunno why, just feels like it doesn’t do anything.

You can do that feat. with every gun Eox, some just make you work a bit harder for it. some are actually easier, tho they usually have less dps and it takes a bit longer.

The Crotzni has higher DPS and per bullet damage than Kek-10.
But thats the point Kek is not the highest DPS (crotzni) but it is the second. It has not the highest ROF (hochfir) but it is second. It doesn’t have the best accuracy (both hochfir and smg-9 better) but it is still middle ground. Only stat it is the last of its class in, is stability and that depends on vertical recoil which isn’t that high.

And that overall package is what makes it attractive sure the hochfir is more accurate but The Kek needs less bullets/time to kill, so it doesn’t need to be accurate for the whole clip in the first place.

Stats stats stats, that’s all people argue with. Not everything is stats, somethings require feeling
I feel the same way to me I can’t do crap with the kek and then people argue with stats like I give a crap
If u asked me I prefer the Smg-9 or Blishlok

But when firing over a longer period without stopping, the crosshair extends really fast… I thought that meant the bloom increased with the crosshair…?

I always tapfire because the crosshair extends and grows so quick

No one said it has no bloom. Infact the Hochfir, SMG-9 have both less bloom while the Crotzni and the Blishlok have both more bloom.
The point was that the mix of good damage, high ROF and low recoil means that you can pretty much simply point at someone click, without the need to compensate, and kill people before bloom inaccuracy becomes a big factor.

Other guns might kill faster but demand more control. Or need even less control but take longer to kill.

The Kek in this regards, sits in a sweetspot atleast for alot of players.

But your milleage may differ you may prefer the handling of the other guns don’t mind the shortcomings or simply get put of by the visuals and sounds of the Kek.

I’ve either gotten worse at using it, or it’s gotten nerfed, but I’m starting to have a lot of struggle mowing enemies down with it. It just feels a lot less damaging than it used to be.

Let’s take Phantom for instance, I have a KEK-10 Phantom and a Crotzni Phantom and I almost always do better with the Crotzni. I dunno what it is but to me the KEK feels like a meh peashooter even though I like the hochfir and use the empire 9. Yeah it’s accurate but I can be accurate with the Crotzni too… Sometimes, when I don’t suck that is.
