With all the new guys on our servers (so we can play even around the clock now thankfully) there are also some people that have to use their best english to describe their fellow players. And doing it over an extend amount of time while completely destroying the other team anyway.
Since i cant bring them back to the kindergarten myself, Id like some help for the people not responding to any kind of good will.
If someone takes care of this, maybe add some ingore functions. Would have been smarter before inviting all the new players tho…
Just ignore them, provocation is an old weapon, you just need to keep calm and look right at your crosshair, not at the chat.

FPS games are like any sport you can get in a players head and talking crap is a good way to throw off a players games… This is gaming 101… People troll for a reason. Actually a few reasons… I do it to make people less focused on shooting…

As suggested, ignore them. But it would be cool to get some mute text/voice chat option for players. ETQW had an option you could locally mute certain ppl.
Just because it’s the internet and it’s a game we shouldn’t have to tolerate trolls and people insulting other players.
It’s the beta, people should be playing to give feedback, not getting attacked and forced to leave by some random internet kids in the already thin playerbase.
Sportmanship/friendly banter is a thing, I’ve been into online gaming for 16 years I know some about it, pure stupidity & lack of education are an other. The latters have been going rampant in the past years.
On DB 2 days ago I was told my familly should “die in a gas chamber”, honestly **** off. People have no limits anymore.
The number of incidents that SD just let fly by is astounding, people have never felt the need to worry of repercussions.

But since this is a social function, I guess we could put something else on the wuishlist as well. For example a friend list, a way to chatt with them before/while playing and also maybe some “recently played” history - where you see all the players you played with.
It is much more fun to play with people you know. It would be awesome if you could find the servers your friends are playing on
I think we will see this stuff. We already had a friendlist (was before nexon took over the launcher).
I dont mean some “****ing noobs” style smacktalk by a random idiot. I came here for a guy that kept abusing his team for nothing but being new. And he did it hard over almost 20mins.
Sorry I am not a big friend of “look away” when people with anger issues go totally mental. Shut them down if they cant behave at minimum level of a human being.

I understand where you are coming from. Old et mute commands would come in handy.
For the moment try to realise this person is trying to win but they are not winning, they are getting stressed, they are losing, they are suffering, karma for abusing others, remember that next time, they are not getting what they want,

If its one thing I would expect from a bigger publisher like Nexon it is to shut such behaviour down.
Kick vote might be ok for some situations like AFK players, but its not enough when it comes to abusive individuals. I think everyone here with a couple years of experience knows that the votes often fail for a couple of reasons. Be it that people dont care or that they are too occupied by whats going on to even realise where to vote (which would be the case with new beta players like now).
But even if the vote passes: Kicked->next server to vent frustration there->kicked->next server->… By that time there were already 20people bothered with the mental issues. Theres is only a rare chance that guy will get the help he needs on the next servers…
