So,when can we expect a new patch?

Title says it all.

3 Patches and 3 patches did nothing for most people which got serious problems with the game.For some people the problems got even worse.

Game has still horrible performance,game crashes sometimes without giving any error,game kills internet connection sometimes(or it says i got no internet even though i can visit every site on the interwebz),game makes characters disappear and so on and so on.You all know the problems.

Not talkin about all the little problems but when can we finally expect a patch which fixes all the gamebreaking problems?

Give us a ETA,or just…something.More and more people quit the game and leave the forums cause they feel like they are left in the dark with their problems.

I know you guys propably work hard to solve this problems but give us SOMETHING to keep up the faith that this game will a shining star in the FPS Genre in the next weeks.

I wan’t that game to become a really good FPS(otherwise i would have already left the game and the forums) but i’am loosing more and more faith every day i don’t see an “update on Brink” or something else. :frowning:

Do you got adhesion contracts with Bethesda so you can’t speak free about your own game or what is it?I’am just wondering cause i,if i would be a developer would be in contanct with the community as much as possible if my game had a disaterous start like Brink. :frowning:

I think you might be on to something there, every announcement is on both Bethblog and then SD.com so there is definitely some element of control there :confused:

You are right, Beth funded SDs work and now controls all the announcements. In fact SDs freedom of speech is very limited.

SD: We want to announce this new fix patch for PC.
Beth: Not yet, lets wait a bit longer so the console players dont think we have forgotten them.

Seems like every dev post on the forums here has to be approved before it’s made public. That’s why you see some dev-posts appearing seemingly out of nowhere in the middle of a thread.

I remember there was a ask a question to the devs conversation one time on one forum.
Every post had to be approved before it was even written down.

Seriously,this all is a nightmare someone just has to nip me.

This game was released as a Alpha/Beta version with “SERIOUS” problems and now the developers are not even allowed to speak with us about the problems as they want without sending every piece of text to some dbags @ Bethsda?

Sorry but,DUH,i don’t get this in my head.I’am not new to gaming(lol not at all) but this here,sorry,never experienced something like that what is going on with Brink atm.Thats new to me.

Even DICE,published by EA (and we all know EA SUCKS) gave out more infos during their really sad days (problemwise) in BC2 when it was released. -.-

I always thought Bethesda is one of the good ones in the gaming industry but OH BOY was i wrong. :frowning:

In my opinion you are all right.
If you look at the older posts of ET:QW on these forums. You will see that Splashdamage replied a whole lot more to ET:QW posts than they do now with Brink.

To be honest I don’t see the love and compassion towards Brink and it’s community like in the old days. Especially after what I find, that Brink is more or less a dissapointment on the PC :frowning:

All SD posts have to be approved before they become visible to the forum. This policy has been in effect since at least August of last year.

hope for another patch soon, too …

on xbox 360 the freezes and lags arebetter now after the 2. patch - but on 8v8 with humans its still lagging a bit, feels like its a mix of little lags and fps problems

but anyway its better than before the patch, i hope another patch can fix this little rest of lags

z1ntho is doing an awesome job as the community manager but Gstaff from Bethesda on the other hand has no clue what he is doing there.

I don’t think Bethesda has ever had a smooth launch. I would venture to guess they are a horrible company to answer to. They seem to claim all glory and let the developers catch all the flak.

Not to be a “Grammar Nazi”, but I find it absolutely HILARIOUS that you spelled “want” as “wan’t”. Basically you’re saying that you didn’t wa (you see how didn’t is did not? So wan’t is wa not…)

When the “Sink” Parody cover image was posted here, I really wanted to comment that at least Splash Damage and their logo is on it, when it’s not on the real game. But I was swamped by real life and the forum was flooded as well.

I hope we get a new patch soon. I love playing Brink, even with the few glitches it has… but none of my friends or mrs will play it because of the bugs. On my PC the sound all works fine, but on the mrs’, hers cuts out, and it becomes quite unplayable when some people are disadvantaged and others are not.

So until these bugs are fixed, I’m stuck playing BC2 with her :frowning: I managed to talk her into playing Brink with me last night, but we came in at the end of the first map, and the sound cut out on the second map, and that was the end of it.
