Fond memories of this one, I had that for years before it finally packed in, looked like it had seen several tours of duty in a really crappy part of the world but it was such a good mouse. The G502 is very good but there’s a lot to be said for the (relative to nowadays) simplicity and fantastic ergonomics of the G500

G502. Has more buttons than I know what to do with, but the shape fits my awkward hands pretty well.

I went from a Kone XTD Optical over to a Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum. It has a goofy name but they weren’t kidding when independent testers were claiming it to have virtually the best sensor for mice while also being the only mouse to legitimately work as good in wireless mode as wired. I bought it just for the sensor and planned on using it wired. But after switching over to wireless and testing it and finding it identical to wired while also not having a cord whipping around everywhere I am in love. Also, it’s liftoff height for me is PERFECT. It’s smaller and lighter than I typically would prefer but I got used to it quickly. All the buttons are pretty comfortably placed. It has that patented Logitech infinite scrolling wheel tech too which is kind of awesome.

Also, I can verify that it can survive a fire, water, smoke and being left in a damp place for 5 days in a row and still work. So, along with everything else I like about it, it’s tough as freaking nails.

Tbh, when I watch 90% of players under level 10, this is what I picture them using.
