So...what happened to new UI system?

(Jan S.) #1

It’s almost a year since devs announced new UI system is going to be implemented. So far, I haven’t seen or noticed any new information about it. Does anybody know what happened?

It was supposed to fix UI issues like lags when opening cases, choosing mercs etc.

i never had any occurance of lag in Menu…but new UI was implemented i think. The main menu is now different.

I am fairly certain all these changes were made. They weren’t overhauling the UI itself. Just what they were using to run it by switching from CoherentUI to CoherentGT. However, a while back I checked, and CoherentUI.exe was still a thing and was still running. I do know that there were a lot of issues with the menu system and Gsync and I am now running a Gsync monitor and I am having zero lag issues.

I also can confirm menu is a lot better, but I still think other games have smoother menus…maybe It’s just me.
I’m just curious about it, since I also saw that there’s still “old” CoherentUI.
