Do I really need to edit my config settings, to improve my 144 to random 40-50 fps stutter drop. Or invest in NASA PC

try configuring the graphic option and set it to High
Weird enough my game runs smoother when I set it to that
I tried on all settings presets but it v sync on and off but it seems it stutters @scrub are you using ssd
I have an SSD for my OS and a few programs/games. Dirty Bomb is on my HDD though.

Yea same, used to get great pref in CB then when OB hit it went down.
Setting everything to max helped quite abit. Kind of an odd case.

You have to remember we’re dealing with an old graphics engine released in 2004. Most current cards won’t even support older graphics options or do so in a bruteforce way, so it’s not surprising that people can be experiencing stutters and graphic problems with lowered settings/options.
I just set it to High and turn off Motion Blurs, One Frame Interval, and some of the HUD effects like sun glare.
stuttering is a minimap/HUD problem, not everyone has it but comp specs aren’t involved
