Sorry for the obscure title, this thread is about a bug with skyhammers airstrikes, when it is first thrown the light around it starts off red and then changes to blue and on occasion kills friendlies giving the death message that they blew themselves up (this bug cost me a game as I was returning when this happened, but winning isn’t everything so I’m only in part salty) but what really annoys me is when I throw an airstrike and all the enemy kills I get don’t register as me killing them and says they killed themselves, @RazielWarmonic is this a known issue?
So this is a thing now!?

It happens when someone changes team after they throw an airstrike.
It’s been around forever, and it’s never been fixed. The same way Bushwhacker turrets and Proxy mines simply change colour when they change teams too, rather than resetting.

Not necessarily change the team, I had few times of experiences. It occurred when I was playing with my friend. Both of us were in the same team yet for somehow his air strike killed me. It is rare, but it happens.

Maybe when the skyhammer die, he turn enemy during few seconds, as you see “they defuse the C4” when you die as defender, but you’re the defender so the game must say “we defuse”.
