@AirborneAsian A lot of games do in closed alpha/beta simply to protect their ideas. A lot of a game’s success is based on marketing, so the publisher often wants to control every small detail that is released about the game - and if the players spilled all the information when it wasn’t a public release, they lose that control. That’s normally the reason why ^.^

I’m hoping gun skins will return, we had different skins for everything

btw, there is still a couple layers of NDA involved, VIP (not just DB), Alpha, and pre Steam beta.

we used to get bunches of info and lots of videos in alpha stage, they are gone, seems people couldn’t grasp the NDA and kept posting to be heroes

Well, they choosed to reduce customization in loadouts mainly because of balance issues. Total liberty in choice of weapons and augments will always resolve itself into meta loadouts that most of the people will use. So I’m more for the current system. I won’t bear to see K121 and explodydendron loadouts for fragger.

I was only speaking about skins, we used to have lots, augments are an entirely different animal

Ah now I get it. The screenshot is confusing OP then.

The customize button was for the skins and the switch button for the loadout cards it seems.

Anyway, I’d be all in favor of that. It’s really annoying to have a loadout one likes in terms of perks and weapons, but in a color one dislikes.
