So the DLC is releasing in August

Yet again no announcement. I have been informed that DLC’s usually release on Tuesdays for xbox live. We were told we would know a few days ahead of time so it seems that there is no hope for seeing it this week.

Way to go. Your going to release a DLC that is supposed to be thanks/trying to save the community 3 months after release.

There’s no deffending this one, its like they’re afraid we’ll chide them so they go hide in a corner working on the DLC and scream, “it’s not done you can’t look until it’s all done!!” Figureativley of course.

What are you looking for? It’s still waiting for certification. There’s no point in telling us “it’s not done yet” every day. Also: I think Bethesda has a say in what PR communications are allowed and when.

It sucks that it’s taking so long but I’d rather it took longer and came out bug free than being rushed.
Of course I’d rather it took them a week to turn out something awesome and bug free but reality is a fickle fickle lady.

It’ll be here soon enough. I’ve seen DLC take longer. (I’ve also seen rushed DLC that was worse than no DLC).

EDIT: I just wish they were allowed to release it on whatever platforms it’s ready for when it’s ready. PC would have had it long ago (and they could have worked out any bugs quicker there to help the launch of the other 2 platforms).
But I understand the marketing behind releasing across all 3 platforms at the same time (not that I like that tactic but that’s what we’ve got).

In my opinion it is very unlikely that the MS / Sony certification process discovers gameplay bugs coming with the DLC. I would guess they only check for correct downloading / installing / marketplace stuff / whatever else a user can do with the DLC.

I would have to agree that’s a possibility. Who knows what the deal is, no one will tell us:rolleyes:

As long as it comes out eventually, I’m happy. A year from now, it won’t matter if the dlc came out today, or next month, or six months from now.

And of course, once the dlc is out, I’m sure the boards will be full of complaints about the abilities being overpowered and maps being imbalanced.
