and fighting a team with 3 proxy’s instantly defusing and rushing through objectives, all the while getting insta jibbed by there shotguns as they flip around like ninjas is not my idea of having fun.( the mines are annoying too)

sry if I’m a Noob or a pretty casual player but there needs to be a limit on how many mercs one team can stack

the only thing worse I’ve experienced is teams stacking rhino

some might think setting a limit on mercs limits player freedom but I think it would be better for overall balance and the health of the game

Most of them are not very bright. Do like me : pick Fletcher and make them pop like balloons.

The only downside is that everytime I do that, I find three Fletcher nerf threads on the forums. :frowning:

Yes, the free, or “three” rotation does get annoying, but you just have to work arround it, just play a bulkier merc and wreck the proxies. But at the end of the day, if you can beat them, be them, yes, play proxy, you may enjoy it :stuck_out_tongue:

Play proxy and learn to think like a proxy. That helps a lot when predicting mine locations and avoiding them.

Also, you can use a loadout with the “Bomb squad” augment to make mines more visible.

Proxies have a really hard time with the tanky mercs, so play Fragger. If your issue is that they ignore you and suicide bomb the obj while their team shoots at you, play Rhino, Stoaker or Bushwacker. Go for area denial.

Personally I never felt I couldn’t play just because there’s some merc on rotation.
Honestly I never even know what mercs are on rotation unless I look at the forum, since I already have most mercs.

I personally don’t have a hard time with Proxy’s but that may also be because she is my most played merc. I typically know where to expect mines and where Proxy’s will try to ninja sneak. I do die occasionally to the random mine thrown that another play who don’t play Proxy often will throw randomly. I think each Merc in their own way is hard to deal with in droves. Such as when your team has 4 snipers, or when the other team has 3 Rhinos. I can agree to a limit of sorts. But at the end of the day it’s just a game and you will win and you will lose, sometimes it don’t matter the make-up of your team cause the other is just better. Sometimes your team is going to stomp.

I have no problem play her. Spam mines down in frequently visited areas around corners for easy kills and run around blasting people off with Hollunds. I did it for some games, felt dirty. I can’t hit shit with my Remburd Aura, but Proxy is surprisingly effective without much effort.

Proxy is in fact not played like people would like to make you believe on the forum. If you throw a mine and someone, chances are you die. Spoilers: Trading yourself 1 for 1 doesn’t actually help your team win at all. Especially if there’s Stoaker and Fragger and Nader who can do the same play, not die, be more reliable at it, and have better guns and more health.
