So many folk unaware of the NDA

Today alone, I’ve experience 8 people who either don’t know what a Non Disclosure Agreement is or didn’t realise they agreed to one.

Can we make this clearer please? I’m told Splash Damage are responsible for the in-game news screen and not Nexon. What is involved in updating that screen? Is it something that can only be updated when a new game update is rolled out? If so, hopefully that changes soon - and you should also roll out a mini-update to make the front page mention, in bold writing, there is a NDA (together with a short description of what it actually means to be under NDA).

This is incredibly important. So many leaked videos, people posting on external forums, even account sharing in some instances. It’ll end up reaching a point where it’ll be more or less impossible to police without requiring hundreds of man-hours trawling the internet.

Thing is that when we arrived here first thing you see is Anti’s sticky about the NDA. So you read it and you are aware of what it means. With the beta I’ve seen nowhere such indications. Just a few trademarks and bla bla that anyone would just oversee and click “next”.

Maybe a round of emails for every player would do some good.

I’m not aware that I read something like a NDA from Nexon. But I do know that there is a NDA but I bet some beta players dont know it.

no fzl, we dont have a private channel for xt, we have a private channel to organize wars and scrims. We are lucky that all of your etqw/xt palyers have alpha/beta access :wink:

it’s not that they don’t read the NDA, they just don’t care, it’s a free game so there is no reprisal. I see this more and more, no respect. Self centered is the norm, everyone it seems will sacrifice their integrity for likes on facebox or stupid tube

Maybe it would be time for a demonstration of what happens when you break the NDA … but that could bring bad press about the game. So basically this guy will be kicked out of the game till the final version releases, and nothing else will happen.

I’d find it cool for him to be banned for life, but you can’t really check … change emails, ip, etc. … too bad

One question I have regarding the NDA: are we allowed to discuss any info from the closed Alpha or the closed Alpha forums on the closed Beta forums? In other words, does the Beta NDA supersede the Alpha and we are free to discuss any and all aspects of the game with all closed Beta participants, or what happened during the Alpha or in the SD forums must stay here?

Concrete example: the latest dev video about the upcoming mercs, could that be discussed in the Nexon forum if someone was to bring up mini-guns or smoke grenades for instance?

I would assume the answer is yes, since its the same NDA.
