I crashed once yesterday and a friend who crashed two times. Yes it’s very annoying, but there is nothing we could have done about it. I don’t like the idea of extreme punishments because these scenarios happen. I know it may say ranked but I go into it with the mentality that this is just a pub. I mean I can finally play 5v5 without facing a premade and I’ve been having a blast! This game was meant to be a 5v5 competitive based shooter and it feels great that way even if on occasion some dicks ruin the fun.
So, ive been booted back a rank twice today

With everythigs ive said and everyone else has said in this thread there is one extremely good thing about ranked MM
I have very low BP in real life, so low im at risk for some other shit so i need a high sodium diet.
After checking my BP after a few shitty ranked matches (the ones with the nader TKing with martyrs) my BP was at an acceptable level.
SHITTY RANKED MATCHMAKING IN DIRTY BOMB IS GOOD FOR MY REAL LIFE HEALTH. THANKS SD

Apparently it is possible, but to make that much of an assumption immediately is a bit overstepping and confrontational. No reason to act the way @Black did in the first post unless he was completely unaware of the patch. Better to ask a question then make an accusation if that is how he meant it. @Kingsley was good about it and explained the recent change that Black may have missed and Black was quick to understand what has happened. No harm no foul. It was handled quite well by both of them after the initial post. Good job being civil.

@Remedica I did want changes, and while this was a step in the right direction (tighter search area and no 5team-queue, this change is not 100% what I wanted. So I don’t see the irony, sorry.

@K-smooth if these scenarios happen rarely you dont get punished too much.
if it happens regularly you should stay away from rabked in the first place, as your shitty connection ruins the game for 9 other people

i define it as people who leave or refuse to learn not to fucking martyr during a push in a chokepoint not only killing the medic but calling the medic a bad medic for trying to revive his downed ass when the enemy is on the other half of the fucking building

I tried playing medic in ranked but I quickly gave up on that. There is nothing more frustrating than playing medic for 4 people who are scared of moving out of their spawn.

1 guy had redeye, vassili and phantom in his squad, I’m sorry sd but people with such a squad shouldn’t even be allowed into ranked…

This is really getting ridiculous. I had a loss where me and my MM buddy dropped over 30 kills each, the enemy team was all around 20-35 kills, and all 3 of our team mates couldn’t even break 10 kills. Why didn’t the MM at least give us one of the people that could kill so it was 3 vs 4 instead of 2 vs 5?
We’ve had so many games like this it’s ridiculous, like a draw where we dropped over 120 kills together, and a game we barely won by like a minute left where we racked up over 150 kills.

You do realize entire Bronze tier was practically non-existant in pre-season, hence most “new” ranks are to be taken into account as being one tier lower than then? So you’re by that measure only 1 rank below your previous placement.
