Well done Dirty Bomb team!!

This is the first time ive ever spent money on a ftp game, plus only 20 or so hours in!. Im normally a tight bugger and wont spend a dime.

Saved some ingame credits to get the loadout I want for her, and it saved me a day or two if I had to buy her with ingame credit, but then I would have to save another day or to anyway to get a loadout card.

Nice solid game you guys got going so far!
Enjoy that tenner, you more than earned it!

weird name for a game though imo ^^

Better than the name that they switched from. ‘Extraction’

Congrats, Nader is fun to play, there are though others as well.

They probably thought it would be too obvious.
I mean they did extract lot of your money, didn’t they?

(Litego) #4

At least it’s a better name than Law Breakers.

The name is still a bit odd, albeit sounding cool. How can you run around a city, fighting opposing forces, if a Dirty Bomb went off recently?

You’d be killed by the radiation, right? Cos that’s the point of a Dirty Bomb.

Nader - Game destroyer

Not sure if you know what a Dirty Bomb means in real life, but here:

A dirty bomb or radiological dispersal device (RDD) is a speculative radiological weapon that combines radioactive material with conventional explosives. The purpose of the weapon is to contaminate the area around the dispersal agent/conventional explosion with radioactive material, serving primarily as an area denial device against civilians.

^I think this is a PERFECT name given the setting/lore of the game.

The catchphrase is also alot better than “now, go on and play extracting

nope, very short half life, that’s the whole idea, kill off the organics but leave all the physical infrastructure intact, saves on rebuilding for the invaders

(Grave_Knight) #10

They only did that because of they were not sure they could secure a worldwide trademark on the name. They switch it back to Dirty Bomb probably because they were either able to secure the name’s trademark or they didn’t care (the concern was probably like how you can’t trademark the word broccoli but that doesn’t really stop you from calling your game broccoli, just means you can sue if someone else calls their game broccoli).

Also, unless there is a common source, it will diffuse through the air too.

That being said Extraction is still a stupid name.
