So.. i got Brink today (UK)

I’m not going to bore you with a huge wall of text.

I like it, but the 360 version has some problems. Texture loading online is really slow makes the game look ugly! Also the lag is pretty bad online.

I don’t mind so much as i have 8+ friends that picked up the game today so i don’t mind playing against bots/them until SD try and fix things.

So yeah… I’m happy! I like that it’s different i can see it being a blast with friends. That’s all i wanted really.

If you have the space, install to hard disk - the texture loading will be near-instant!

Pre-order from GAME or Play and they send it out so it reaches you on release, 9/10 times it comes on a Thursday.

I preorderd and mines not coming until 2moz really anoying I used to get games a day early from gameplay spose ill start ordering from game from now on.

You’re lucky you can play.

Console players are restriction-free but Steam loves to wrap PC gamers up in chains, even if they paid outright for a physical copy of the game.

Instead of pressing A to play the game, Press Y to View Details. You’ll see an option to “Install to Harddrive.”

How easy are you finding it to play with your friends online? From what I’ve heard on these forums it’s a pain in the ass to get all your friends into an online public match without a lobby…

Pick mine up from Gamestation tomorrow, got money on my trade in card. Free play/old Skool play lists have less lag apparently.

I use shopto.net for my games. Everytime I’ve preordered a game it’s been delivered the day before release. Mortal Kombat 9 and Marvel Vs Capcom 3 came 2 days before release.

Not sure of that annoys the devs or not but I highly recommend. them.
