So how are NGS and the GMS dealing with cheaters?

Nope. If you don’t pre-spin the minigun, and just camp with the main shotgun, people totally hear the minigun.
Sarcastic comments aren’t getting you closer to your point.

I agree NGS is severely broken but to call hacks on someone just because they corner-rush you while you think you’re being sneaky is just a bit petty. My question to you is, do you accuse everyone that knifes the first thing they see when crossing over a corner? How do you know that they didn’t see you going there?

It might be hacks, it might not be hacks - this kind of thing happens all the time, it’s just getting knifed around a corner.

I agree with you on all the actual NGS issues, Nexon needs to get their ANTI-CHEAT together, and quickly as well.
And yet you answered the “sarcastic” question.
It was more of a comment and less of an answer but thumbs up for trying.

The best they can, because people seemed to think anti cheat means no cheaters…just ask Counter Strike.

Honestly it’s more like having a team full of Batmans, diligently looking for the latest cheats by either becoming a customer and breaking down how the cheats work and where they could go next, or by simply looking at the Reported Players and observing how they play.

We really need our own Overwatch, seriously.

ban their real steamaccount with all associated games for life. that would do the trick. really, after rust and its 50k-100k cheaters iam all in on that one. here there are streams of headshots too. whats up with that medic killing me easy, his health goes down to just 50% vs rino ? yeah right, ridicilous. BAN THAT FUCKER FOR LIFE. I HATE THEM.

unfortunately the problem is quite huge in DB.
The last 2 weeks on average I have seen 1 cheater per 5 games.
I am not talking about people shooting you in a corner but people who are either using blatant god mode cheats that nuke enemy team constantly(those are easy to detect) or the ones trying to hide the fact they are using aim bot. they think they can hide it by not going 70-0 but they forget its pretty obvious when every kill they do is a head shot and often several players in rapid succession.
The good think is that more and more people are aware of it and i’ve seen several successful votes kicking these players. at least with the ones that dont use the hack that removes the vote option as well.

however this is what comes with free games.
Just look at the increased rate of cheaters playing bf4 after EA put it on free game time.
Its impossible for devs to stop all new cheats and as long as the game is f2p we just have to live with it.

I’m getting the feeling that the game has gotten a few more hackers lately, people making impossible turns or literally destroying entire teams with a blishlok when they just have retarted movement or situational awareness.
I can definately say one thing and that there are more of them now than a while back in pubs.
Unfortunately many don’t know how to look for signs of hackers neither many probably care, since it’s only pubs. There are definately some strange occurrences or just some master players out there with their noob accounts.
Agreed, the number of players with either no set up steam profile, or a single game on it with awesome aim are starting to grow. Worse, I had one sniper in a stopwatch game that did 42 kills in one half, lining up 5 headshots in under 5 seconds on moving targets and then I spent the entire second half watching him and he did exactly 3 kills, missing lots yet having a sixth sense for where players were coming from. Seems to me like we got a new cheat on our hands that deactivates the aimbot when one is being spectated but keeps the wall hack on.

he probably just noticed a spec and switched the bot off. dont think there is a cheat that could detect you being specced, as the server feeds this information to the spectator, not the client

I’ve been waiting to spec this one guy for about 2 weeks but he always leaves after on half of stopwatch and quits the game. He has a new steam account and only free to play games in there. Not sure if he is on a surf account or is a cheat. Still waiting to get enough evidence to support my initial opinion of him being a cheat which says alot about the reporting process and anti-cheat. I was around when it was awful and cheaters had a field day and it’s improved massively since then, but it’s still needs a fair amount of work to get it right. I’m patient though but atm I prefer not to play the game until the recent issues with latest patch are resolved.

That happens all the time. When I try to spec obvious cheaters or people who did incredible skiller things with like Level 7 and I try to spec them most of them leave or suck donkey balls after that. We need a serious replay function with a convenient “report with replay-marked-timestamps” thing.
Entered 3 games today where Levels 1-5 (preferably Vassili or Stock Phoenix) dominated a team of 10+ people with 2 30+.
