So guys... I need an opinion on which merc I should get next

(frolicsomeCrane) #1

Between Aimee, Sparks and Bushwhacker, tbh none of them appeal to me but they’re the only ones I don’t own.

Aimee and Sparks both offer kinda unique playstyles while Bushwhacker is just a solid all around merc. Get Bushwhacker.

Bushwhacker

You can try Bushwhacker this week to see if you like him.

Mhmm…I suggest you have a look at my guide on Steam.

Aimee, if you are an experienced sniper and prefer creative spotter spot rather than throw and forget.

Sparks, if you prefer mass revive, situation sniper and insta- heal packs

Bushwhacker, if you forget about your ability most of the time or you prefer using your guns instead of your ability to fight.

Bushwhacker is the best of them imo, Aimee is the second best Recon imo though after Red Eye.

I’ve got 500+ hours in this game, literally played all the mercs except Aimee, whom I think, is probably like Vassili with his spotter, I pretty much wanted an opinion on what I should get next, guess Bushwhacker is next.

Fyi, Aimee also gets the GSR (Red Eye’s scopeless sniper) in addition to the standard rifles of the PDP and Felix if that helps any.

With your hour count in mind, Id go with Sparks and her very high skill ceiling. Shes got the most to reach for.

I’m actually trying to steer away from her, to be honest, I’m an awful sniper and considering her REVIVR and how I always try to get better with it… I’d just end up as one of those awful wannabe sniper Sparks.

She has a lot of variety to offer.

Then you can play her as the selfhealing proxy variant. Always looking for a vulnerable flank to hurt them from behind.

When being chased her charged revivr to the head can be just as good as camping a corner with a mine to blow up. A bit skill needed however.
