so, do we get some PC footage before the release?

As the in game videos released up to now all seem to be showing console footage and every writer of a preview I asked told me he was playing on either Xbox 360 or PS3, I was wondering if we’ll get to see some PC footage or at least get to hear/read a preview about the PC version?

supposedly some footage is from PC already , but they were using 360 controllers with the PC, so it just looked like 360 footage

I know those Container City parts were on PC but a really early version of the game. Looking at, for example, current “Ready And Able” trailer, there don’t seem to be PC features like AA or AF.

Eurogamer, some previews and other events all used PC with a 360 controller. You’ve probably seen more PC footage than you know, but the 360 on-screen prompts threw you off.

I think the OP is asking for PC footage with PC controller (aka mouse&keyboard).

And regarding the big “PRESS B TO GO BACK” menu entry, and the way the cursor is moving it SEEMS to be played with a gaymepad.

Just a pedantic bunch. They know damn well what the OP wants, the OP could’ve known damn well that he wasn’t the first to ask for this, and SD knows damn well that this is what the community has been begging for as long as Brink has a community.

Yeah I would like to see some high quality direct footage played with mouse/keyboard.

The officially released direct footage, as I mentioned before, all seems to miss PC features like Hi-Res, AA or AF.

Agree with the OP on this, If we are not going to get a demo then at the very least show some Proper PC footage with a mouse and keyboard so we can see how the combat/smart system works with those.

There’s a screenshot in one of the earlier videos or interviews or something of PC interface. You can see where the console D pad icon is replaced with keys saying 3, 4 ,5 or something like that.

Can’t remember where it’s at. Didn’t look at all finished though :slight_smile:

edit: Just remembered where I saw it: Exedor’s powerpoint slides from GDC, one of them near the end I think.
