So did MS/Sony find something wrong with the DLC

So did MS/Sony find something wrong with the DLC? I don’t believe for one second that it has taken MS/SOny this long to authorize a dlc.

(Smoochy) #2

ive seen them take longer

(Artillery Tuna) #3

They not only have the dlc to go over but the patch as well. SD probably aren’t going to release one until both are authorized.

(SinDonor) #4

Really, it should only take them a week to 2 max to approve a DLC package. So, it either did fail (and we’re not gonna hear about that from SD), or it’s being delayed for Bethesda’s bass-ackwards marketing purposes.

(Darksider) #5

Like you’re gonna get any answers, It’ll get here when it’s done period…

(AnthonyDa) #6

DLC is planned for july 30 (source mtv).

(Zanchile) #7

that was proved wrong a while ago. and I thought MTV was just music.

(kronus126) #8

MTV is anything but music

(Zanchile) #9

then why is it called MTV?

(razzzty) #10

I do fear the worst and think there may have been a bug found with the dlc. maybe the shield attachment is op who knows, but would much rather them fix everything and take their time to get it right. maybe we arent hearing much from sd because of how alot feel they put their foot in their mouths when they originally advertised the game and want to take a more careful approach. let the dlc and patch speak for itself and then re advertise the game to bring ppl back

(Jess Alon) #11

This is actually pretty true.

(Hot-Wire) #12

If a bug was found then delay is inevitable. … However them knowing a delay is inevitable without them telling the community. … That’s bad business.

(SinDonor) #13

It is actually now called eMpTyV.

(Jess Alon) #14

I bet microsoft wants to charge for it instead of the free two weeks… And they don’t want to piss everyone off.

In SD’s defense they cleverly said “We expect it to come out early July.” They never said it actually will. That’s some fancy lawyer speak right there.

I myself would like badman to get on here and tell us what’s up.

For the reasons I’ve posted in a few other threads, sometimes, the release of DLC is out of the devs hands. They plan for a July release, but then poop hits fans and it’s possibly not their fault entirely.

Agreed. It’s time badman fess’d up the “bad” news.

(Tandem) #17

Nothing to see here.

(crackedgear) #18

where was this proved wrong? all I remember was a bunch of people saying it can’t be true because mtv sucks.

(Qbix) #19

They posted “early July” as the release period in their last own update on that topic, so I consider it at least more trustworthy than anything another website wants to announce. On the other hand, “early July” should end this week at the latest, so if we don’t have the DLC by friday I’d like to drop some nuclear warhead on that weirdo island in the north of France withou a decent soccer team.

(zenstar) #20

When Bethesda take the ball gag out of his mouth maybe.
And it’s possible that Microsoft is just taking it’s time certifying things. Maybe there’s a backlog or they’ve got a new guy on it who can’t keep up?
