So did I seriously get perma banned for having Cheat Engine open?

I usually have cheat engine open because I’m awful at video games and sometimes I need help.
I NEVER would EVER cheat on an online game because thats just really dumb. It says I was banned because I had a third party programs / software. I always remember to close Cheat Engine when I’m playing Warframe, Dirty bomb and even GTA V. I assume I had Cheat Engine opened once because I had never been warned about it when I opened Dirty Bomb before yesterday. I had gotten on my computer and waited for the game to update on Steam to be told that I was “Suspended permanently” for doing something on accident. I have never used “third party programs” for anything in online games and I’m not about to start now. I will open up a ticket eventually I was just wondering if you seriously get permanently suspended for 1 offence, accidental offence at that.

PS. I realize this discussion looks more like a Ticket…

Hi, on the forum there is a post were SD say which softwares are forbidden.
You’re one is in it. Cheat engine is forbiden everywhere and is use to help at creating cheat (work on memory: offset and static adress).
Maybe you are honest but who knows? It’s your word against the SD law.

At a time, i personnaly used it to try stuff because i learn programming. But don’t be too dumb
to forget to disable it.

If you’re account is not very old, go use a new steam account…(You know the thing cheater do when they get caught LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOl)

My Steam account is 3 years old and has over 100 games, why would I risk cheating…
Also I know Cheat Engine was banned because it told me this the one time I had it opened and opened Dirty Bomb.
