ye… somewhere between this and the frustration that we still have the spawntime/map - problem. It is the best patch so far but i expected more.

I dont mind something NEW, but dirty bomb is simply bad, nothing about it feels good its just a design frankenstein. They made the same errors with quake wars and brink (having no control over your gun was totally new at the time).

Take PvZ: garden warfare as example, its a console port and have a ton of things that i dont enjoy BUT at the same time its pretty fresh and gameplay does make sense. They didnt steal things from other games and just put it together like SD is doing now (aside from that bizzare gunplay that most people dont enjoy), you can feel that they did think about what they were doing while designing it.

They are trying so hard to make this game uniqe and “cool” that they fail at base level, this game is simply not fun to play and adding tons of things from other games wont make it any better (like faster running with knife, sure it works for CS because you dont need to run as much there and every round is a fresh start so you dont really risk anything while running with a knife).

People are hungry for ET style game, but SD always try to make something uniqe that cant find any decent player base, why not try to give peolpe what they want this time around ? CoD is doing that all the time and it seems to be pretty successful.

TF2 and CSGO are both primarily hipfire and are two of the largest multiplayer shooters on PC right now…

i actually really like the 3 merc system. With a 1 merc system, your team is ****ed if you don’t have a decent composition. If you could switch to any merc you unlocked, people that have bought all the mercs have a pretty significant advantage and the game is somewhat pay to win. It would be like a country paying Fifa to have more players in their roster for the world cup. 3 mercs lets you adjust the team composition and without giving paying players more tactical options then everyone else inside of a match. Not to mention that if you had a large list of mercs to choose between switching to, people would spend more time trying to choose which merc to switch to and less time playing. Probably is my favorite implementation of a unlockable characters system in a shooter.

Not wishing to be pedantic, but stuff like this is so disingenuous … the HS reward wasn’t taken away, it was reduced from 2.5 (same as ET when the opponent doesn’t have a helmet) to 2.0 (same as ET when the opponent does have a helmet).

Either way, twice as much damage for a HS is not no reward.

Thats actually what I want.
See real teampicks with different classes and rolls and not the current faceroll we have atm.

Really need matchmaking and a merc pick/draft option.

I too would really like to see this.

It’s something that we’ll likely get around to as a gamemode but improving what we have is the highest priority right now :slight_smile:

oh i really don’t like that. Its ok for lol or dota because 1 map (match or wtf) normals goes like 50 Minutes. But for 15 Minutes a merc pick/draft bahhhh. For me those 50 seconds merc pick time is far to long and sucks XD

You only can do that like smooth says with a complete new game mode. But i really don’t know if that is possible and useful

and for the hop on/hop off servers, can we there please have the full range of mercs available to play as we like? With a quick select hud.
