So about the storyline

This may have possible spoilers in it, dont read unless you dont care.

When you play as Resistance, in CCity for example, you are supposed to defend the ‘vaccine’ from security who want to take it for VIP use, when you arm the missile to launch at Founders Tower, it is said there are no people in it, its more of destroying a symbol than killing innocents.

However when you play as Security, you are retrieving a bio-weapon in CCity, and Resistance is firing the missile at a crowded building that will kill thousands.

The question is, are these two different storylines just to make the player not feel like a terrorist dealing with bio-weapons and blowing up towers, or are the two sides just being used, told different things than are really happening, is the ‘vaccine’ really a dirty bomb but the Resistance is fooled by Chen to thinking its a vaccine, do the Founders really want to steal a vaccine for themselves instead of letting Resistance distribute it across the Ark? Personally i like the deceptive idea instead of split stories, it adds more thought to the SP game.

Firing the missle at the tower is a ‘‘what if ?’’ mission as in what if something didnt work and they went a step further to get their point accross. If you hightlight the what if missions it gives you a description of exactly why its a what if mission

The mission where the security see the missle being launched tho im not sure how that overlaps and I havnt yet done the what if missions for the security force so cant help with them either

i think its miss information, the resistance say its a vaccine and it prob is, but the chemicals used to make vaccines could also be used to make a weapon so its likely that security assumed the worst of got bad intel.

as for the tower, Resistance my believe it to be abandoned because they think the people in the rich part live in luxury when in fact it may well be full because even the rich part is over populated??

Both sides are wrong which gives the image that theres no “main” side. When you lose the missile level as sec you hear the commander yelling to see if everybody got out in time, so there obviously were people in there.

And the sec barging into the slums and stealing the vaccine which is considered to be a bioweapon makes them look an oppressing abusive force.

They’re both baddies.
