This is getting stupid. Two matches I lost/tied because we lost a person. Not like ranked cares since it will still not give you any points for that error. Another reason why I can’t take ranked seriously.

What about when you crash or disconnect and can’t rejoin the match for some reason? That’s happened to me before, but apparently they fixed it with the last patch. Haven’t crashed again recently so I’m unsure.

Currently the dropped players came from games where we made significant progress. First one was halfway during the 1st half and the next one was dropping after the 1st half, and they didn’t/couldn’t come back. I am not going to assume they rage quitted considering that they were doing well.

We we didn’t lose ranking when a teammate abandons my team and costs us a close match.

It’s a pain when people drop out just because they don’t want to play, it’s something which is tricky to fix. For the more technical side of things we’re investigating bugs/issues which are kicking people and preventing them from returning. If you’ve experienced this yourself please post in the bug megathreads and leave details as we may want more info from you.

Never dced in about 60 matches, my pc is fine but my net sucks because I’m using wi-fi .
I remember in one of my first matches from season 2 all players(10 people) from the server dced and I was the only one who rejoined so I got an automatically victory after waiting 1 min.

All those guys or at least 99% of them are just some fuckin quitters that got pissed or guys who had something to do

First off, NEVER say All. Secondly, My house services 4 computers that all actively run DB, and two of them frequently enough have issues with ranked, and ONLY ranked. Disconnections, not being able to get back in, etc. It’s nice to have a neighborhood spot for playing DB, but there ARE some issues, and it’s not just their computers either. I’ve played DB enough times this season (at least over 30 matches so far) and have been disconnected once. Thankfully, I was able to log back in.

2/6 x 100% = 33.33%. Rookie numbers sure, but high probability wise.
Also I got dropped from a match as well, but was lucky enough to rejoin this time.

I do not see what is so tricky about fixing this. Give a higher punishment to the player who is leaving and do not punish the players staying behind by loosing their ranking. Easy fix.
And so that players do not abuse it also punish players who joined the game with the leaver.
