I never said PDP is hard to kill, I myself hate this gun and will never use it unless I’m trolling on a pub which isn’t often. My problem with PDP is that it’s a noskill sniper and people who play sniper shouldn’t use it. It should be a weapon that is used for snipers under level 10 to train at headshotting and then once they reach level 10 start using an actual sniper after they already know how to headshot and get all the kills[/quote]
But why SHOULD the PDP be a weapon for snipers under level 10? All you’re saying is “it should be this - it shouldn’t be that” but you have no logic or reasoning to suggest this.
In my opinion it’s actually harder to play the PDP because you need to be consistently accurate over multiple shots, rather than just spam shots at someone, miss 15 times and then get one headshot and get a kill despite your inconsistent accuracy. With a PDP you actually have to chain multiple hits in a row, and you’re greatly rewarded if you can land at least one headshot in that chain - and chaining shots requires consistency. (Now, obviously if your opponent is rushing you and you have no teammates to back you up, this is no longer important, since you DO need to make a good shot(s) or you will die then and there, but in these situations when I’m being rushed I would still be much more confident to go for a dragscope with a MOA/FEL-IX and then finish them off quickly with my sidearm, than I would be for going for multiple shots up close with the PDP because once the enemy has reached close range you can’t use scoped weapons very effectively, which is why using a bolt action shot when they’re closing in is best before swapping to something that you can hipfire them down with).
And, again, the MOA and FEL-IX already have the massive advantage of up front damage which means they don’t have to expose themselves for much time at all when they want to peek and fire, while if the PDP user wants to do this they are only dealing around half the damage per shot (which means they’ll lose in most sniper duels).
And anyway, you’re talking about the PDP being a skill-less weapon, but your suggestions are to ‘remove the 1 shot kill potential’ from the PDP on Proxy, Kira and Aimee… How would THAT make it a more skillful gun??? That would just discourage snipers from going for headshots which is the quintessential aspect of skill-based FPS strategies - aiming for the smaller target of the enemy’s weakspot. What you’re suggesting (for the PDP at least) would make people go for bodyshots instead of headshots, and yet you’re also saying that all snipers SHOULD go for headshots… Your logic is fucked.
