The sniper rifles should be a 1 shot 1 kill, but sadly this game doesn’t provide that, taking away the thrill of sniping. When you shoot a guy with a sniper, 75% of the time they have health left and its hard to get a kill that way. Sometimes our sniper kills are stolen by our teammates and we barely get any kills.

Snipers are actually pretty balanced and viable as it stands now. A headshot gibs instantly, which is insane and currently why snipers are being played. To change the body damage, or remove the headshot gib, would make snipers either overpowered, or pointless in a game this fast paced. For once, I’m happy with how a class is balanced.

Do you realize that if sniper would be 1 shot kill it would INSTANTLY turn into meta as only viable weapon? Also its TEAM BASED game so let your teammates do the job if you cant get the head.

The sniper rifle is way op as long as you can jump scope shoot. This is the only thing which should be changed imo.

It’s hard to pull off and leaves the sniper that’s jumping vulnerable to being counter-sniped. It shouldn’t be changed.

Body shots still do a ton of damage. If you get tagged by a sniper you’re not likely to win the next gunfight unless you have a medic nearby.
I hate it when people refer to teamwork as killstealing. Go play Call of Duty if you’re worried about K/D.

It’s not a kill steal. It’s kill secure and saving your ass.
Especially when it comes to snipers your job are the crucial gibbshots. If your team is finishing your targets you are not doing a good job.
PS. PDP players and less stellar snipers it’s fine to do bodyshots a weakend enemy is still a good thing but you are not complaining about people ruining your precious K/D right ^^.

Sniping takes skill now, thats why its fine. Same discussion was had with battlefield, people wanting super easy bodyshot kills. The next step after bodyshot instakills would be sniperinos requesting “Barrett .50cal”/semi-auto 1 hit kill sniper rifle. After that they request a mountable sniper turret so they dont even need to aim or shoot themselves.
If you aint got the skills to headshot you aint sniper material, simple as that.
Git gud, headshot, git more gud, headshot more and throw those sensors for you team.

pretty sure the felex is a 50cal sniper rifle and at 1 point it was considered so OP (1poppin auras with body shots and their heal stations) that they had to smash its face with a nerf hammer from the gods of nerf… atm i am satisfied with how the bolts work 1 hit body shots against mercs with 110hp and above in a long TTK game should never be a thing
