Sniper Montage !!

So This is my first time doing this, and if you have any comment, please feel free to share it :slight_smile:

it looks nice, good shots all around. but its a shame that most of it is against low levels.

you need better music. having pirates of the carribean in a loop gets boring really quick.

at 1:50 i would suggest that when you add a transition that you make the next clip a bit longer. while the transtion is happening between clips, you get a kill. i suggest adding a bit of time before the first kill of the next clip, so that we get to see kills after the transition has ended.

you have too many clips with just 2 kills, then you cut (probaly to 13 seconds later) and you get another 2 kills. it makes it feel as if im watching more of a gameplay with cuts between boring parts than a montage. i suggest going for clips with 3+ kills within 10-20 seconds.

3:47 is nice, but should the freeze should be a bit shorter.

I definitely will improve next time.

Unfortunately that I reinstalled the system, so I actually lost a lot of videos,
plus, sometimes I forgot record the game, for example, I had 66/11 yesterday in min 10 level server, but I forgot to record it

what recording software do you use? i use shadowplay for 1 minute clips and i regret not having a secondary recorder for 15 minute matches.

also, the first clips have unsynced audio. that needs to be fixed as well

I use shadowplay only. I record the whole game, so it it easier for me when it comes to choose which part that I need for the montage.

if you are more focused on montages like me i suggest setting the shadow time on 1 minute. smaller file size, and way easier to edit and decide if you want to record a clip yes or no. if you are more into montages i suggest going for 15 minute buffers.
