I play sniper in all of my FPS games and honestly, this nerf was uncalled for. Sniping in this game is as hard as it gets and after the nerf to instagib players, vasilli became quite clunky. Don’t make him any worse.

I find the new sniper jump shot pretty useless now after the patch. It’s just not needed and needs to be changed back.

Vassili’s strength was instagibbing players . .that’s how a sniper rifle should work … Headshot yes then it must be a instakill … i hate that nerf to the core and i am not playing vassili from that moment !! :disappointed:

I would keep the nerf so there wouldn’t be jumping snipers anymore but I would reintroduce instagib to Felix/Moa instead. Simply give higher rewards for better aiming skills.

imho it was always a dumb thing for me to see a guy jumping up and down behind a cover and and picking people from the battlefield left and right while doing so. Glad it’s gone. The game gets better with every patch :3

If you’re going to nerf Vas even further at least remove scope sway. Now all he has are his sensors if you play like a good Vas should, and not just sitting at the back with the other 3 on your team with 2/19.

The whole appeal of Vas was that he was a functional sniper in a fast, movement based game, and as such could also utilise the movement like any other merc could to outplay and kill opponents. Now we’re stuck with the dumbed down military sim sniper design, may as well make him crouch for full accuracy next patch because some people can’t deal with him.

Christ, if they didn’t want jump shots to be a thing just remove the ability to scope while in the air. Don’t make it a frustrating shitfest.
