When u wanna trow heartbeat sensor and u change your weapon before trowing it - it just disappears.
This could be something similar with, as when u shot > change your weapon >and u have to click to shot again - before u could just hold the mouse (this is after new update)

There’s a similar bug with placing healing stations, although it might be terrain related.
