I never noticed in the original RTCW but, does ET support SMP (i believe its Symetrical Multi Processing)
I know q3 was supposed to have it but was removed or disabled yet the command was still there…and was getting curious…

There is a r_smp cvar. I don’t know whether or not it works, but you could try it. I don’t have an SMP machine to test it on.
well at least q3map2 can use multiple cpu’s, dunno if that’s what you wanted to know though…? no idea if the game itself supports them, guess no, at least i never recognized that but maby it’s my settings…
Unless its changed, no, you cant use SMP’s. I had a dual 1 Ghz P3 machine and everytime I added a “1” next to the SMP in my config, I would crash. So, for me, it doesnt work. :banghead:
