Smoothing out terrain texture

I cant seem to get this texture to look right, its too bumpy and needs to look smooth, I think I read something somewhere on what to do but I can’t remember what, or where it is.

Use proper terrain texture, search for a lightmapped one.

See “phong shading” and the “q3map_shadeangle” shader directive.

alright I found out how to use phong shading, and it worked perfectly, thanks :smiley:

It looks like you have a pretty high density terrain.

If possible try to decrease the divisions of your terrain - the triangles will be larger but the seams will be much less noticable.
