Besides, the unreal engine has some really gorgeous ways of creating smoke and mist.

agree! would be add more tactical movement.
Would give them slightly more purpose. We found that the sniper class in 5on5 matches are never used. So something to think about I guess.
I think the best way to solve this is to give the sniper rifle unscoped a delay, also a delay while scoping, but once it’s scoped it should be an unstoppable killing machine. Minimal sway, maximum damage, slowing rounds, rounds that pierce multiple targets. Just deadly as hell.
Why? Because the range of opportunities to actually be a good sniper are incredibly limited. The skill in sniping should be in the pointing and the clicking but in finding the best positions and vistas to be effective in.
Something for the FOps I’d say. Give them another reason to be on the frontline and support their team at or getting to the objective.
Covert Ops needs a drone like weapon. EMP to disrupt enemy radar, turrets, mines etc. Small arms to generally pester the enemy behind cover. Video feed that plays in other player’s hud.
I want both the Fops and the C-ops to have it. The field ops should have an option to have their drone fire tactical smoke which lasts long over a large outdoors area and on a huge cooldown. The C-ops uses smaller, shorter indoor grenades on a short cooldown.
All part as a class specialty so that we don’t end up with maps constantly covered in smoke.
Oh and please an option to have heat vision for both classes. PLEASE.

NOOOOO !!! please no ! smoke is smoke all the classes had to be affected, after it’s your choice where to put it.
