There were so many complaints on this forum about certain weapons. Now many of the weapons have been adjusted. Finding what weapon you prefer is the best approach. Find your own style. Use the Tampa. Use something nobody else does, and make it your own.
SMGs post june patches
Yeah, I hate spam straffing even though I do it too. Canāt help it too much Halo in my veins. I would much rather use the cover and lean tactic. Lately alot of that has gone to pot becaue the crouch function has been acting funky for some reason. actually thereās been a lot of weirdness, button responses, AI looking like me all the time, and double iron sighting before firing. I dunno hopefully something fixable.
(sounds like lag but I have highspeed cable internets and Iām a direct jak so itās not.)
Hey, he looks like me, wait a minute⦠OPERATIVE IN DISGUISE!
Someone had to.
In my experience every weapon Iāve used outclasses the carb in every aspect, maybe its just the way I play?
Every time I try the carb (usually as a secondary because Iām a heavy) it takes me only a few attempted kills before I switch back to the galactic or a random assault rifle. In my opinion the galactic is much more steady, and has a huge drum magazine for when sustained fire is needed.
One weapon group I donāt care for, however, is the assault rifles. Does anyone else feel that the assault rifles handle really clunky? Even as a heavy I often pick a smg as a secondary because I donāt like how the assault rifles handle.
But this is on xbox, and I donāt think weāve gotten the patch yet?
The galactic doesnt spread so much as the CARB or the KROSS, at least not after 10 shots. However it doesnt do enough damage to go up against a CARB in all situations. Not in all situations because you might be lucky your opponent not hittin, especially after the latest patch.
I tried the Assaullt Rifles again today and I piled up the kills with a weapon buffed Rockstedi AR. All it takes is AIM and not more than 3 bullets for a kill. Most of the times I only required 2 bullets to get a kill and you can shoot fast enough with it.
As far as I know you will receive it with the DLC.
The Bulpdawn seems much more viable as an #1 weapon for light now (using it teamed with Belgo w/hicap). Tampa is very nice for close up work but has terrible accuracy outside 5m; good to pair with Ritchie or Seagle. I never liked Galactic as itās low dps compared to the other SMGs. Kross is still a good all range weapon but lacks dps compared to Tampa and accuracy compared to the Bulpdawn. Overall I really like what the weapon balancing did; I hope the heavy weapons arenāt too powerful now though
You donāt seem to understand what I am trying to get at. In terms of Medium/Heavy vs. Light balancing I can see why people like the patch but in my opinion the way it has been doen is just plain wrong.
You can not have a competition when fights are being decided by some random number generator rather than skill. So if you look at it this way you canāt deny that the patch is a step backwards.
Also let me remind you that I am not trying to defend the pre-patch CARB version which pretty much owned anything. The body type issues could have been resolved in better ways for sure and without making the SMGs so random.
