SMART Button on Controller

Just wondering, what button is currently the SMART button on the default layout that you guys are testing with on the Xbox 360 Controller?

not that it answers your question, but I think they are aiming to have fully mappable buttons for controller - so it shouldn’t matter what button it is. If I had to guess, I would say it was one of the bumpers.

I remember reading somewhere that the SMART button was set-up for different skilled players… The more “noobish” (so to speak) will have less buttons to do to make the same motions as an “advanced” person would do by pushing more buttons… and in return you move through the action faster or slower depending how you choose to execute it.

I don’t think they are aiming for “more than one SMART button” the whole thing is “use Smart button or use jump/crouch”, so my guess is those will be 3 buttons of the ones on every controller

That would be awesome. I don’t understand why console games don’t let you map your controller to your playstyle. I think there would possibly be more games I would have enjoyed if I could play them the way I want to.
