Didn’t know it was a recycle, wouldn’t have spent that time messing around with demo recording and getting a shot of myself in third person view if it was.

To clarify @terminal, limb shots are a thing in Dirty Bomb. I don’t know where to find the stats on them, but they do exist. One of the devs even confirmed that a while ago when I asked. Go into an empty server with a friend and try using the Grandeur on someone standing still. If you shoot them in the hand or foot, it does not do the full 40 damage per shot. Some times it can take at least 5 shots to take down a Skyhammer when they are running if you don’t manage to hit their body. You could probably do the math if you ask them what their health is after you shot them any way.

Also @Dysfnal, the Grandeur doesn’t have fall off. If you’re doing less damage at distance it’s probably because of the above. Shots are probably registering as limb shots or something.

Am I the only one who thinks the minimum and maximum spread should be buffed? Like maybe that’s why the damage is so wonky, shots are not perfectly down center like they should be.

The idea behind the Grandeur is to account for that spread, by slowing down your shots or using ADS. It’s the skill behind the gun (which is actually really interesting compared to the PDP, which is just recoil control). The problem to me is that the DPS reward for those accurate shots and skilled use is nowhere near rewarding enough (especially when you hit 3 shots on a 120HP merc and they limp off with 1% health because one of your shots hit them in one of their limbs).

Hence, reducing spread so it’s more consistent. Realistically the idea of waiting between shots should be reserved for limiting ranged combat, not close quarters

Yap. that was me who asked it for.

20% damage decrease is fairly accurate besides some of the add number damage guns.

@Dysfnal Grandeur is considered as SNIPER RIFLE, and it has so damage fall-off by RANGE. Dreiss has 31m longest range besides sniper rifles, but that is totally different from extreme range that all sniper rifles have.
