Skyhammer airstrike auto-locking on targets.

As it is right now airstrike seem to automatically approach the target zone in a way to hit as many targets as possible. Any other support skill whatever its the satellite or arty needs more “skill” to use it. Why not make the player choose the line of approach to balance it out?

Secondly make the marker (add smoke?) bigger and easier to notice I have been killed so many times behind walls or under roof without being able to see it or react.

Skyhammer’s airstrike falls horizontally from where the player threw it, - negating your point about players not choosing where it hits. There’s no lock on or anything, it’s all down to how the player throws the marker.

If they’re facing the side of an EV when they throw it, the strike will fall down along the length of the EV, one end to the other. If they’re at the front of the EV, the strike will fall along the width of the EV.

As for not seeing the airstrike, if you don’t know where it is try and get under cover, or get the Guardian Angel perk. Airstrikes count on people not hearing or seeing it until its too late.

That last bit is ridiculous.

the only problem with the airstrike is that multiple airstrikes at one time makes the sound disappear so you can’t hear it until after it explodes (e.g. when you’re dead).
