Skybox

Hi guys,

Do i have to make a skybox very long so a panzerfaust can’t touch it if the rocket shoot or is there something else what i cauld use?

if you shoot a panzer at a skybox it just goes straight through it and never returns, same for grenades…

if you dont want the panzer to touch it at all, then yes you have to make it very high

now if the panzerrocket touch the skybox there is a big black mark

then it isnt a skybox xD
or you are missing the shader file most likely…
classic skies are:

skies/sd_goldrush
skies/sd_railgun
skies/sd_siwa
skies/sd_wurzburgsky

those should work (I think those are the right ones)

does the caen sky works the same? dunt remember its name…

all skyboxes work like that, you can make your own if you want to, but that I can’t help you with. you jsut need to make the faces you need like top, bottom, left, right, forwards, backwads, so the inverted sides of a cube. then within the shader file you put them all together and give them the right surface parameters.

Just open up a different skybox shader and see how its done…
