Sky Problem

I’m having some problems with my sky.
I’ve gone with 2 tuts on this the on here http://www.splashdamage.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3582 and the one at surface http://www.wolfensteinx.com/surface/tutorials/sky.html. I’ve done it both ways and each time it stuffs up as you can see with the image below.

Compile I’m using is -light -fast, I have a strong feeling its my comple but I have no errors though. If I’m using the wrong please let me know its driving me nuts.

Compile using Beta -vis - light fast

and also - which sky texture/shader are you using? i had a similar problem but i just changed my sky shader and problem was sorted.

That effect is called HOM, and yes some skies look like that. Here’s what I found with testing:

sd_batterysky = Working
sd_goldrush = Working
sd_railgun = HOM
sd_seawallsky = Orange Grid of Death
sd_wurzburgsky = Working
sky_goldrush = Orange Grid of Death

…The thing I don’t understand, is why half the skies work in official maps but not in mine =/

The first one I used was fueldump_clouds then I went to sd_railgun, after that I tried a couple of the sky_##'s and still got the same thing.
