I have been struggling with this problem for atleast 2 hours and still i can’t find the answer.
I search at the forum, read a dozen tutorials. But my sky is still black :(.
I have a terrain created with EasyGen it works well. Then i made a large hollowed box around it and give it the texture sd_goldrush (and yes its a shader because it has a white line around it).
I also add 2 lights in the center of my map with the value 9000.
If i compile it and start the game the terrain is nice but the sky is pitch black :(.
I also tried other sky textures but they are mostly an orange grid with black. And some others(like sd_goldrush) are black.
Who can help me out? Maybe someone got a simple map with a sky. So i can see what i do wrong and copy past it to my map. When i open goldrush.map i see so many lines i don’t understand which one is the sky

I just drawed a little box inside my map and gave it sd_goldrush. And its transparant. If i set \r_shownormals 1 then i can see 6 little dots at the corners of the box. I can stand on it but i can’t see it (except the 6 little dots).
