Ehm my sky works as a clip
If I shoot a mortar right up ist will hit the sky with a boom!
I decided to use goldrush sky but it seems to use clip
I use hullcaulk outside the sky
I got the sky maded of structural brushes
The sky works as waponclip
So i can hit the sky with panzer
Must the sky be an entity?

probably need to find the shader for that sky and place it in your map shader… It just a guess
You are not using the goldrush sky, otherwise it would work. Also I don’t think you need a tracemap for it to work either. (It’s not a bad thing to do, but I don’t think it’s needed in the case of testing mortars)
I can’t remember exactly which sky is goldrush, since I haven’t mapped in a couple of months, but I’m 100% sure that it does work when you have the right texture.
If you have applied a texture and not a shader as a skybox, it will be a solid rocky thingy.
If there’s no tracemap, I think the game stop you from using mortar?
I find the problem!
The sky was hit able in 2.55
But when i tested the map in 2.60
It worked
But it was probably becouse
Ehm some important files probably
Disappeared when i cleaned etmain…
