I made a terrain on easygen,I textured it and loaded it up on raident and put a sky.I then save the map and compile bsp meta or somthing like that its the first option on bsp.I open wolfET type commands in the console it loads comes up and everything is a yellow and black grid. Airstrikes work but I cant see the sky Or ground texture.

Before you exported the map from easygen, did you make sure to save the project ?
If you save the easygen project before you export then the correct paths for the texture will be save and the textures should show up
ur problem is file structue as in ussually looks like this or something similair…
etmain/textures/terrian/urpics.jpg
thing is this is where the actuall file path and pics need to be their or it cant find it…
so if u want to know what the path is right now or alter it do this…
go to etmain / scripts / click on urterrianscript.shader
open the file with notepad… u will see where it is looking right their…
so then make the file path if it doesn’t exshist and move the pics into it…
and walla they will show up…
and if u don’t get this ull have problems when it coms time to PK3 it…
so might want to read a few tutorials… on file structure… pk3 tutorial would prob help…
This question has already been asked in other threads, i had the same problem, and i had a thread for this. try some searching before.

if you copy and paste terrain from another map which you made through easy gen. Then you need to export the worldspawn keys and values too. this includes all vertex shaders (i think thats what they are called).
What I did was extrated the pak0.k3or something like that and I got a bunch Of folders with textures in them. then I took all everything in all the folders and put them in the folder textures.So what I was left with was a folder(textures)filled with all the textures that were in the folders. I am new to thhis mapping stuff and I still dont understand what you were saying.
More help would be greatly appreciated.
