Skill shuffle feature

It’s pretty easy, if you’re on the last objective, then it’s almost over. And if it’s not almost over, well then the match isn’t imbalanced now is it? In which case you wouldn’t need to shuffle. If the attackers never get to the last point then the shuffle vote is closed X amount of minutes before the timer runs out.[/quote]

Not buying it. If its trainyard first obj and attacker’s are closed in spawn in the first 3 min, is it ‘almost over’? If teams are balanced 3 mins is more than enough to get 1st obj done. Should shuffle be closed then?
If its underground and first obj got completed on first wave (it often does, with people being afk etc.), is it ‘almost over’ if the attacker’s can’t leave the elevator spawn?

Why invent elaborate systems that prevent abuse when all it takes to avoid abuse is not vote if you dont want to. If >50% of server voted f1, they presumably want the shuffle. Where is the problem with that?

Unless of course, they were selecting their ‘f1’ merc, it is quite baffling why the two are bound to the same keys.

Would still be able to vote for shuffle in that case…

That takes you to objective 2/3, so no, still not last objective.

Depends, by elevator spawn, do you mean the last spawn point, meaning they managed to push the spawns to the end? If so, yes, if not, then no. Well it may not be almost over, but it sounds fairly balanced to me if you managed to do that.

The problem is people who abuse it. We’re not talking about a very elaborate system.
If on last objective, disable vote shuffle.
If <5 mins left, disable vote shuffle.
Fairly simple stuff.

With this they can fix the voting system where it only counts total votes and ignores amount of players on the server. Which means that in a 8vs8 server 5 people could vote, 3 for shuffle, 2 against, and it would shuffle.
