You can go and visit the site for the mod and then learn more about it, with the screenshts and in a while with somes videos from the beta test which was in this last week.

We are working on the 0.5.1 version wich are new HUD and a plenty of news ideas to make ET more fun and more team play.

I think effectively, that too many people try to go to the server roxorgamesā€¦ I think a some minutes or hours this will be ok.

On the site in the ā€œdownloadā€ section a small video about 5 minutes and about 22 Mo is enable to download in a rar format, for those who are interessted to see the mod in action and see some details of this mod, the first video is out.

Unfortunaly while we donā€™t have player model SDK for ET we canā€™t add new 3rd person view animation, and leaning need news 3rd anims.

but True Combat came from Quake 3, and they can take their old stuff from there, for their et port.

I donā€™t know if they used ET player models or them owns

ET players with new skins , and helmets (stock helmets are md3 , so there is no problem with editingā€¦)

AFAIK, the ONLY way to add leaning anims to ETā€™s player models is to use Ikanattoā€™s MDS conversion technique, or the proper tools (which havenā€™t been released yet).
I donā€™t think Q3 player models will work in ET, because they use a different animation system.

Only to say to you who were interessted by the first video on the ET:RW mod, that there is another video on the site, which is in hight quality, during 5 minutes, on the fueldump map, always on allied.
