Single player fps cap fix?

(Nerdjitsu) #1

I just wanted to know if the devs have acknowledged and are working on a patch for the single-player 30fps limit. The whole reason I got the pc version of this game was to be able to run it at 60fps. I realize that the frame rate is fine on multiplayer servers, but I don’t want to jump into multiplayer games until I’ve had some good single-player practice, but I don’t like trying to practice with the 30 fps when the full, smooth game feels like it has totally different controls.

So have the devs said they are working to patch this? I mean, it seems like this could have REALLY affected reception of the game, too… graphics junkies may have just flipped on the single-player, decided the graphics weren’t up to snuff, and moved on to something else before beholding the game in all its true 60 fps glory. And it’s especially confusing because this is the only game I’ve ever seen where FRAPS (and even the in-game fps counter) reporst higher numbers than are actually taking place on screen.

Is this being worked on, or should I give up?
