So, I understand that it is limited now, but is there a way to dumb it down even more, my computer is pretty bad lol
Simplistic look?
I don’t believe there is any way to lower the graphics to the levels shown in that screenshot since that one update that restricted configs.
I only get like 35 frames, there has to be a way XD[/quote]
Look out for a config. Outs1ders is working I believe. It is pretty low, but not on the levels of the screenshot. It was changed because they gave players a way too big advantage.

I don’t get it, why don’t they allow us to turn of textures? I understand that being able to turn off foliage is stupid (even though you can still do this to a degree), but textures I don’t understand.

They don’t allow it anymore because no textures are a big advantage to someone with textures. The eye catches models faster if they appear on a bland grey surface.

How? Dirty bomb runs off the Unreal Engine, a dual core @ decent ghz OC’d or not would be able to carry more than 35 frames.
wtf is your specs.
Similar issue with my ENVY dv6 laptop (12 gb of ram, but integrated graphics) - While i can get roughly 25 to 45 FPS with configs/lowest settings, it still annoys me at times. For us old-time-y potato computer users, every frame helps.
You gotta get the CPU of goodness, AMD sure as hell doesn’t cut it. Heck, AMD can’t cut anything nowadays, they gotta step up their game.
Get an Intel CPU and your frames should increase wildly.

Well, they managed to cut their losses a bit last quarted if I remember correctly
But they are in a very bad shape, bleeding money and cutting costs everywhere, including R&D - the one thing that can save them.
But yeah, any current laptop i3 28W+ or i5 15W+ is enough to push you over 60fps. With a dedicated GPU that is. You may try running it a potato config on a 28W+ CPU with integrated GPU, it may work. But forget about 15W parts - not enough power to keep both CPU and GPU at full speed which leads to frame drops.

Yeah, my intel i7 laptop with an nvidia 550m GPU from 2011 (which means the tech in it is from 2008 or so) gives me 90-125FPS when on the 550m and 70-90 when on integrated at 1080p using the same config I use for my desktop where I get 280-350 during a match. And that desktop is now almost 3 years old.
So yeah, I am a big fan of going Intel/Nvidia for anything I own due to AMD always trying to bank on putting out an 8core processor mostly so their marketing department can spin it. They throw in 8 cores, not care much about performance or stability or compatibility with common applications (or how much they scale with cores) and then attach a cheap price to it and get people to buy them thinking they are getting the best deal ever.
When in reality, outside of specific benchmarks, they are rarely worth the money in performance and then tend to fall even further when you start running into unseen issues like odd performance with certain applications/games. Part of that is AMD/their awful drivers and part of that is the industry that builds most of those apps and games are developed on and tested most with Intel/Nvidia.
I used to buy AMD back when they were leading in performance and innovation and weren’t just a company relying on marketing gimmicks and quickly crapping out hardware in order to keep up with the competitors. I WANT AMD to be good…a market that has no competition gets stagnant and pricey. I just don’t see it right now though and I won’t put my money behind something I use every day and rely on behind something that is so sketchy.
Is Outc1der’s config even updated? I thought he quit months back. It’s why I said to use newb’s, 'cause he actively updates his.
As far as I know, it’s not. Sick6’s has the same effect as his config on my laptop, for some reason. I’m currently using Typo’s, and it’s the least awful of the bunch, according to my slightly reduced stuttering.
