The respec article in the Brink wiki (here: http://brink.wikia.com/wiki/Respec) indicates that you lose a level when you respec. My question is, is this loss permanent? I have the DLC and have respeced once already, so will a second respec cap my maximum level at 22 or do I just have to re-earn the experience? If it makes a difference, I’m running the PC version of Brink.
Simple respec question
nope. it just sets you back 1 level. youir level cap never decreases.
Thanks. It’s good to know that I won’t be permanently penalized for wanting to try out the many abilities in this game.
This thread made me finally google what the hell does respec mean, since wolf and others use it in every their every other sentence. Note that English isn’t my native language. Nice finding out it isn’t even a real word, lol.
I have respec like 4 or 5 times each character so far! I have 5. You usually want to respec because you make a mistake, found out the hard way you can only map 3 abilities to the supply meter, the level cap has been raised to 24 and now its beneficial to respec. Do it!
Yeah, I usually try to stay away from the “1337 Speak” as it were but I’ve been using a lot of it on this forum for some reason. Guess it makes it easier to keep up with the forum because it moves so fast.
