Simple Central HUD - Flease HUD -

Hello guys, just wanted to share with you the HUD I created and I’m comfortable with.
Tested on 1920x1080

The minimap is not shown because I did change these parameters, in ShooterUI.ini, like this:

[ShooterGame.SGUIHUDMiniMap]
m_MiniMapWidth=0
m_MiniMapHeight=0
m_MinimapPollThreshold=0

(this is just what I changed)

Really liking this one. Only thing I changed was the position of the character selection element to center it on the left between the minimap and the HUD elements in the middle of the screen.

CharacterSelectionPosition=(Align=(H=HA_CENTER), Attach=(H=HA_CENTER, V=HA_BOTTOM),PixelOffset=(X=-293.3333333333333,Y=6.666666666666666))

Anyone know where I can find a nice central 4:3 (1280 x 960 I think I use?) hud? I tried that hud designer thing but even when I place stuff in the centre it’s always a mile off when I load it in game. Kinda gave up trying haha.

There’s the pixel offset function in the end of the lines. You pretty much have to tweak the elements via those (X = to what direction element is on X axis from the Horizontal (first) Alignment mentioned on the line, Y= same with Alignment of first Vertical axis), they never get to right spots just by drag’n’dropping for some reason.

Why does almost every single custom HUD has a “central” in the name.
Can’t people come up with more creative names…

Kidding xD but really they can’t come up with anything better cause DB custom huds are always central :tongue:

Just name it after you. It makes it easier to search for it in google and stuff like that.
Examples: Bomba HUD
Talespin HUD
Outc1der’s HUD

As for the name, I wanted to give user a clear idea about what kind of hud to expect before even clicking the title or see screenshot.
If I’m looking for a central hud, I find it easier to google for a “central hud”.

However naming it after my nickname too is a good idea and I appreciate your advice. thx.

I run 1280x720, anyone know how i can optimize this hud for that resolution relatively quickly? i’m also wanting to raise a few things closer to the crosshair (if you want to understand what i mean, http://huds.tf/morghud/ is essentially the tf2 equivalent of what i like. i know, i’m insane.) anyone got tips?

i’ve tried that before, it always does the offsets wrong. for some odd reason when i hit generate it practically randomizes the offset values, then i have to go into annoying spam my friends with i’m playing notifications mode so i can manually fix them.

i really wish the guy who made this will finish it so i can have a working generator.

I have the same thing @epicdragon2104 I gave up using it. Don’t have the patience to move things around and re-make it 15 times to find the right spot. For some reason nothing actually ends up where I put it. I can put certain items in the middle of the screen and they are in the middle, where as other items will be 2 inches upwards to the left and stuff. Such a shambles trying to make a hud on there for me.

still need it? i can whip one for for yah. I found out you HAVE to displace things on that hud config. I’ve fiddled with it quite a bit. I’ve made my own hud but for 1080p. i can squish it down if you still want. look at the thread i made for it and tell me if you want it in your resolution :slight_smile:
